First up, a very rare mixtape from none other then dr dre himself, from 1987! Its called the Swap Meet mixtape and consits of constant chopping, scratching, and sampling of old scol hip hop and breaks from start to finish!! So so sick!! check it out!
Skepta has been more and more surprising for me as of late, not only with the more obviously 'different' for lack of better word, tracks like goin in, okay it was catchy and a bit of a novelty at the time but lets face it, boy better know thats pop! Compared to skepta's infamous grime anthems like Priverate Caller, D.T.I, and his infamous Pulse Eskimo(which was rumoured to have been bootlegged and sold with out his permission, hence his producers try bootleg my tune lyric, there is a massive change (the video for pulse eskimo says its by wiley, this is not the case! ...Though selling out seems to be the easy option these days with Roll Deep Crew at number 1, Skepta's latest track is surprisingly catchy with a voice boxed hook/chorus and a dubstep style drop, this could possibly (fingers crossed) be the the first many dubstep style tracks with mc's on the drop in the charts, and you can really hear him crying out in it. Check the video in comparisent to his former tracks below... Lets hope this does well hey!!?
..What The!? ..Oh shit, wrong video sorry!! ..Any way sick little number from Proffesor Green feat Lilly Allen on the chorus with the hook taken from the classic 1983 track above...And she does it justice!! ...Check it Out! The track is available to buy July 12th...
